Mark your calendars for this year’s parish cookout in the school yard, Saturday August 26th from 10:00-4:00.
Family Festival 2023
Plans are underway for this year’s festival on Saturday, September 30. Brooks BBQ will be here, games for the kids, the silent auction, and other events and prizes are being planned. 2019 Alumni Luncheon
Alumni Luncheon, celebrating graduates from 1959 and 1969, was held Wednesday, October 9th. Entertainment was provided by the school’s third and fourth graders!
Blessing of the Animals
On Saturday October 5th we welcomed pets of all kinds to Blessed Sacrament in celebration of the Feast Day of St. Francis. Parishioners brought their guinea pigs, cats and dogs. Children may bring stuffed animals as well.
Catechesis of the Good Shepherd
2018 Confirmation Retreat
Our confirmation candidates spent the day at our Lady of Martyr’s Shrine in Auriesville, NY along with candidates from Mater Christi, All Saints , and St. Vincent’s. The day included sacrament of reconciliation, attending Mass, venerating a relic and deep spiritual discussion. Please keep all candidates, and their families, in your daily prayers.
Parish Picnic 2019
On Sunday July 28th at we held our Annual Parish Picnic at the West Albany Pocket Park. Sponsored by our Youth Group and Holy Name society, our parishioners had a nice afternoon seeing old friends and meeting new members of our Parish Family.
