Readings
If you are a lector for a weekday Mass or do not have access to the Lector Workbook for the Sunday readings, you may practice from the readings listed at www.usccb.org/bible/. They should be the same.
Click on “Today’s Reading,” or use the calendar on the right side of their page to jump to the readings for that day. Remember that the Saturday 4:00 Anticipated Masses use Sunday’s readings, except in rare cases (Christmas, Easter, Pentecost, Ascension, Assumption, Nativity of St. John the Baptist, and Sts. Peter and Paul).
If there is an option between a longer or shorter version of the reading, practice the longer version, but, before Mass, check with the priest or deacon who is preaching to see if he has a preference. We will almost always use the short form of the Ephesians reading.
